EGCR Spotlight of the Week

EGCR’s spotlight series will be focusing on the fun side of our staff and Court Reporters, featuring their interests and what makes them awesome! This week’s spotlight is on our awesome Transcript Production Coordinator, Barbara!

If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Don’t instigate my crazy!

What is the one thing you cannot resist? PUPPIES!!!

Do you have a favorite quote? Be kind. Be careful with your heart and those of others. Be giving. Be generous. Be honest, even when it might not be easy. Be a well-wisher and have true joy for others’ blessings and successes. Be benevolent. Be empathetic. Be a forward thinker – learn from the past, but don’t stay there. Be a risk taker. Be passionate. Be able to forgive. Be able to let go of that which does not serve you. Be determined. Be strong. Be courageous. Be unstoppable. Be the amazing and perfect you that only you can be! ~Jae Hartzell

What is the first concert you attended? New Kids on the Block… The things we will do for friends!

Who is your favorite band/artist? Metallica

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation? Italy, for the food.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? Probably Sandra Bullock.

If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? My husband, Tim Curry, Robin Williams, and my Grandmother.

What would you do if you won the lottery? After having plastic surgery to remove the perma-grin from my face… 🙂

I would make sure my loved ones were taken care of, move across the country to somewhere with lakes and mountains in my backyard, start a business (many things come to mind, but probably in the food industry), and open a dog rescue/shelter.

What’s your favorite movie? So many! I absolutely love Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. I also love Forrest Gump and Jerry McGuire. Depends on my mood… I can’t really pick one to be my favorite!

What animal best represents you, and why? Platypus, they are kind of all over the place, and poisonous!

What three things do you think of the most each day? My family, my dogs, and cooking.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? 1969 – WOODSTOCK, enough said!

What three traits define you? Very blunt and direct, Hard worker, and Sarcastic

Tell us something that might surprise us about you: I used to ride 4-wheelers, a lot. I love being in the woods on the trails in the dirt and the mud, so long as it’s not too hot outside!
