EGCR’s Spotlight of the Week

EGCR’s Spotlight of the Week

EGCR’s spotlight series will be focusing on the fun side of our staff and Court Reporters, featuring their interests and what makes them awesome! This week’s spotlight is on our Court Reporter, Heather!

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Surely something about heavy sarcasm will follow.

What is the one thing you cannot resist?

A glass of white wine and a good movie.

Do you have a favorite quote?

Success is no accident.  It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing.

What is the first concert you attended?

KISS (In third grade… true story lol!)

Who is your favorite band/artist?

Hmm… Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves are up there on the list.  Anything country or classic rock.

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?

Turks & Caicos, please!!

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Sandra Bullock… she’s hilarious!

If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be?

That’s tough… I’ll go with Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Williams, Jr., and Waylon Jennings.  That’d be a good one.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

PAY OFF STUDENT LOANS!!! Lol… I’ve always wanted to own/run my own barn that specialized in equine therapy.  That would definitely be one of the first things! (After student loans.)

What’s your favorite movie?

I have so many favorites.  Taken, all of the Jason Bourne movies, Top Gun, Steel Magnolias… I know, I’m a weirdo.  There’s no consistency there whatsoever lol.

What animal best represents you, and why?

Oh, goodness.  How about if I could choose to be a specific animal… I’d choose my cat.  She seriously has the life.

What three things do you think of the most each day?

My human babies, my fur babies, and I guess the hubby should probably make that list too. 😉

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?

Take me back to the 40s.  They had awesome hair and cars.

What three traits define you?

I’d say outgoing, compassionate, and happy.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you:

Hmm… well, I grew up in a small town in Florida and was an avid equestrian.  I owned two horses and spent every second of my free time in the barn.
